- how to escape touristy Bali -
Today marks two months since my first trip to the paradise, Bali. I have finally got all pictures done to cite my joyous time in Bali, Indonesia. Shall we start?
Four months before the trip, I called my bestfriend - Gabby - out to join me in Bali, she was keen to come along and she brought Angelia along with her. A month before the trip, Angel and Gabby has already decided places to visit in Bali, they listed down hell-a many places (note : they used to live in Bali for 6 months, so they know what's goin on :p).
I have never traveled Bali before, I have only been to the airport for transit. But as much as I wanna make the best out of my four days, I personally tried to avoid touristy-places as I can. When I mentioned escaping touristy places, I mean it! Thankfully I have travel buddies that have the same thoughts and it was the best four days of my first time in Bali.
Sundays Beach Club is a private beach located at The Ungasan Resort and Villa. You do not need to reserve. It costs IDR 300,000/per person (equal to AUD30), which includes towel, IDR150,000 Food & Beverages Voucher to be purchase at the restaurant, free Kayak and snorkeling equipments and you may stay as long as you want.

My favourite cafe in Bali by far. Sisterfield serves Australian standard breakfast, lunch menu and service. They also have serious marble goals!

I have to say this is my favourite place so far. Besides how photogenic this whole place is, the foods are way to go. However a minimum IDR100,000/per person purchase is required.

I was sad that Bali trip ended faster than I thought. Bali has such a good vibe, or what I'd called positive vibe. And I believe Bali will always have me coming back for more :)

Here's how I arrange flight, accommodation and getting around Bali :
FLIGHT I flew JET STAR from Sydney directly to Bali. I spent AUD250 for one way (including 20kg check-in luggage). I did not purchase in-flights meal because I fueled myself at the airport, but I did purchase in-flight entertainment, I couldn't get away from my boredom.
ACCOMMODATION I stayed at Sense Sunset Hotel in Seminyak and paid $88 for three nights. I always book my hotel at Booking.com every time I am planning a holiday, besides the cheapest price and the best room I could get, it is a really easy booking process.

GETTING AROUND BALI We got around Bali by car. Gabby arranged a car rental and she droves us the entire trip.
Another way to get around Bali is by motorcycle (for short distance), taxi or rent a car + driver.
